Overview

The Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing is based on a one-day training programme designed to ensure candidates develop the requisite knowledge and practical skills to implement a HACCP plan in their workplace.

Outline programme

The qualification covers the following topics:

  • The HACCP process and its role within food manufacturing
  • How to develop, monitor and evaluate HACCP-based systems

Assessment method

Candidates will be assessed by an assignment that requires the development of a HACCP plan.

Course progression

CIEH (New) Level 3 Award in Food Safety Supervision for Manufacturing.

QCA Accredited

It is recommended that delegates have completed a Food safety qualification up to or above level 2 e.g. Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing or equivalent.
