A Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor A-level tutor has won a national award for her tireless work in helping students progress on to university and higher education.
Last year, due to the increasing demand for nurses in Wales, Sioned Roberts from Porthmadog and Lois Thomas from Minffordd both decided to enrol on an Access to Higher Education (HE) course in order to fulfil their dreams.
Ffion Pugh, studying on the UAL L3 Diploma in Art and Design at Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor, Dolgellau, had work selected out of 500 entries from colleges nationwide. Ffion's Lockdown posters really stood out, and it was also the only bilingual work on show.
